The 10/26 verse comes from 1 Corinthians 10:26, "For, as the scripture says, The earth and everything in it belong to the Lord." GNT
Such a simple statement. Such a simple truth. Scriptures like this remind me that the Lord doesn't actually need anything from us. He owns the whole world and everything in it. But I am so glad He cares enough to pursue me and my affections - even though He doesn't need me. He cares about you too. He wants us all to really know Him intimately.
I'm on board with that! Our God is good and faithful. He simply wants our hearts. For our own good - not His!
